Attic Insulation Near You in Henderson

Working near you across all eight Henderson ZIP codes, from Green Valley and Whitney Ranch to Anthem, Inspirada and Lake Las Vegas

Free inspection

Depth readings across the attic, a check of the ventilation path, and a look for moisture, mold and pest damage. You see the photographs and a written scope before work starts.

What we install

Fresh insulation, removal of damaged or contaminated material, added depth over an existing layer, air sealing, hatch and baffle work, and insulation for commercial ceilings.

Target R-value

R-38 to R-49 measured at the attic floor. This is the DOE range for climate zone 3B, and most Henderson homes built before 2010 have less.

Scheduling

Office hours are Sunday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and the emergency line runs 24/7. Henderson is a short drive down the 215, so most jobs can be installed on the day of the inspection.

Why Henderson Attics Require More Than Code Minimum

Henderson has some of the oldest master-planned housing in the valley and some of the newest, and neither was insulated for a 150°F attic. Older homes have lost depth as the insulation settled. Newer homes were built to the code minimum of their year, which sits below the range this climate calls for.

Henderson’s First Master Plan

Green Valley broke ground in 1978, and most of it was built through the 1980s and 1990s. Insulation from that period went in at R-19 or less and has settled further since, so many of these attics now sit well below the DOE range.

Single-Story 55+ Communities

Sun City Anthem opened in 1998, and Solera at Anthem followed. Single-story layouts place the whole floor plan under the attic, and residents are often home through the hottest part of the day.

Newer Homes, Code Minimum

Inspirada, Cadence and Anthem Highlands were insulated to the energy code in force when they were built. That is a better starting point than older neighborhoods, but it is not the top of the DOE range, and gaps around hatches and can lights are common.

Depth is set to the full DOE range for Clark County, and markers on the trusses show the finished level was reached.

Cleaner Indoor Air

Paired with air sealing, blown-in insulation reduces dust, allergens, and smoke infiltration, important during Summerlin's dusty seasons.

Signs Your Henderson Attic Is Under-Insulated

Two or more of these usually means the attic is below R-38.

✓ Summer electric bills jump noticeably between May and September
✓ Bedrooms at the far end of the house stay warm long after sunset
✓ The air conditioner runs through the afternoon and still cannot hold the set temperature
✓ The ceiling feels warm to the touch on summer afternoons
✓The tops of the ceiling joists are still visible, usually a sign of R-19 or less
✓ The house dates from before 2010 and the attic has never been topped up

Attic Insulation Services in Henderson

Henderson attics are insulated with one of three methods. Which one fits is decided at the free inspection, depending on the material already in place and the attic framing.

Blown-In Insulation
Fiberglass Batt Insulation
Cellulose Insulation

Blown-In Insulation

This is what we use in most Henderson attics. We blow it in, and it gets into every gap, corner, and hard-to-reach spot, around pipes, wires, ductwork, all of it. Even coverage every time.

Best for: most attic types, adding over existing insulation, full even coverage

Fiberglass Batt

If you have a standard attic with open joist spacing, this is a great fit. It’s pre-cut, goes in clean, and it’s the most affordable option we offer. Does exactly what it needs to do.

Best for: open attics, standard joist spacing, budget-conscious upgrades

Cellulose Insulation

We use this one when we need to really pack the insulation in tight. It seals air gaps better and works great in spots where blown-in can’t reach. It’s an eco-friendly choice if that matters to you.

Best for: tight spaces, air sealing, homeowners who prefer recycled materials

Our Installation Process

Four steps, and on most homes all four happen the same day.

#1

We start with a free, no-obligation on-site inspection to assess your attic, check current insulation levels, identify air leaks, and spot any issues, mould, pests, moisture, or ventilation problems. Takes around 30 minutes.

#2

Customized Solutions

Based on what we find, we recommend the best insulation type, R-value, and approach for your home and Las Vegas climate. You get a clear estimate with the full scope and all-in price before any work begins.

Attic Installation

Our crew installs your insulation, often the same day as the inspection. Most jobs on a 2,000 sq. ft. attic are done in 3–4 hours. We protect your home throughout and handle full cleanup and disposal.

#4

Quality Assurance

After the attic insulation installation, we do a final walkthrough to confirm everything is installed correctly, evenly, and to the agreed R-value. You’ll feel the difference immediately.

Henderson Attic Insulation Questions

Does Attic Insulation Las Vegas cover all of Henderson?

Yes. We work across every Henderson ZIP code: 89002, 89011, 89012, 89014, 89015, 89044, 89052 and 89074. That includes Green Valley, Anthem, Seven Hills, Inspirada, Whitney Ranch, Cadence, Lake Las Vegas and the original townsite.

R-38 to R-49 at the attic floor, which is the U.S. Department of Energy range for Clark County in climate zone 3B. Henderson homes built before 2010 were commonly insulated to R-19 or less, and blown insulation loses depth as it settles, so most older attics come in under the range.

Blown-in insulation suits most Henderson attics, since it installs over the existing layer and fills the gaps around ductwork and wiring. Fiberglass batt insulation works in open attics with standard joist spacing. Cellulose insulation installs denser and seals small gaps, which helps in tight or leaky attics. We recommend one at the inspection.

Often, yes, although the job is smaller. Homes in Inspirada, Cadence and Anthem Highlands were built to the energy code in force at the time, which is a better starting point than older neighborhoods. Many of those attics still sit below R-49, and gaps around the hatch, top plates and can lights are common. A top-up with air sealing is usually the right scope, and the inspection shows whether it is needed at all.

Yes, in most Henderson homes. As long as the current insulation is dry, clean and free of pests, new material is installed on top of it until the attic reaches the target depth. Old insulation only needs to come out if rodents have contaminated it, moisture or mold has damaged it, or it has compacted too far to work.
