Here's What We Can Help With

We offer all major attic insulation methods and help you choose the right one for your home, budget and Las Vegas climate.

Blown-In Insulation
Cellulose Insulation

Blown-In Insulation

This is what we use in most Las Vegas attics. We blow it in, and it gets into every gap, corner, and hard-to-reach spot, around pipes, wires, ductwork, all of it. Even coverage every time.

Best for: most attic types, adding over existing insulation, full even coverage

Fiberglass Batt

If you have a standard attic with open joist spacing, this is a great fit. It’s pre-cut, goes in clean, and it’s the most affordable option we offer. Does exactly what it needs to do.

Best for: open attics, standard joist spacing, budget-conscious upgrades

Cellulose Insulation

We use this one when we need to really pack the insulation in tight. It seals air gaps better and works great in spots where blown-in can’t reach. It’s an eco-friendly choice if that matters to you.

Best for: tight spaces, air sealing, homeowners who prefer recycled materials

What Changes After Your Attic Is Properly Insulated

This is what we hear when customers first reach out, and what they tell us after the job is done.

Before After
"My electric bill hits $400+ every July." Cooling costs cut by $80 to $150 a month
"My upstairs is still hot at 10pm." Rooms hold temperature through the night
"My AC runs all day and never catches up." AC cycles normally
"Some rooms are hot, others are freezing." Consistent temperature room to room
"I can feel the heat coming through the ceiling." Heat blocked before it gets in
"My HVAC keeps breaking down." HVAC lifespan extended 2 to 3 years
One thing worth knowing: when your attic sits at 150F, it is not just making your house hot. It is also wearing down your ductwork and shortening the life of your AC. A properly insulated attic can add years to your system. When a replacement costs $5,000 to $12,000, that is worth thinking about.

Attic Insulation FAQs

How does attic insulation help keep your home cooler in Las Vegas?

Attics in Las Vegas heat up fast, and that heat pushes into your living space through the ceiling. Attic insulation slows that heat transfer, which keeps indoor temps steadier and makes your AC run less often. Sealing common air-leak spots (like the attic hatch and ceiling gaps) helps even more because it stops hot air from sneaking in.

For most Las Vegas attics, blown-in insulation is a top choice because it spreads evenly and fills hard-to-reach areas. Fiberglass batts work well in open, standard attic layouts. Cellulose is a good pick if you want an eco-friendly option that also packs tightly, which helps with small gaps.

A common target in Las Vegas is around R-38 to R-49, depending on how much insulation you already have and how your attic is built. If your attic is under-insulated, adding enough to reach those levels usually gives the biggest comfort change.

Yes. In Las Vegas, the main goal is blocking extreme heat coming down through the ceiling, so coverage and air sealing matter a lot. Colder states focus more on holding heat in for long winters, but Vegas still benefits year-round because nights and winters get cold too.

Yes, in many cases. If the existing insulation is dry, clean, and not contaminated, adding more on top can improve comfort and energy performance. If the old insulation is damaged or unsafe, removal comes first.

Attic removal is usually needed when the insulation is contaminated (rodents, strong odors, nesting, dead animals/insects), damaged by moisture or mold, or so compressed and deteriorated that it no longer performs properly.

Usually, no. The work stays in the attic, and you can stay home. If you’re doing removal and you’re sensitive to dust, some homeowners prefer to step out for a bit, but it’s not required in most situations.

Our attic insulation pricing includes all materials and insulation product, labor and installation equipment, air sealing where required, attic hatch and door insulation, baffles and ventilation work, full jobsite cleanup and home protection, disposal of removed materials. We explain the full scope before the job starts, so you know exactly what is included.

Not if it’s installed correctly. Insulation should not block airflow paths, and attic ventilation needs to stay clear. During the inspection, ventilation and moisture signs should be checked so the insulation works properly without creating issues.

Yes. Eligible customers can get 5–10% off for our attic insulation services.

Some of the most common signs are high power bills, rooms that stay hot, uneven temperatures around the house, and an AC system that seems to run all day. In Las Vegas, many homeowners also notice that upstairs rooms stay warm well into the evening. If you are seeing these issues, there is a good chance your attic insulation needs to be upgraded.

Usually, very little preparation is needed. We may ask you to make sure the attic access area is clear and easy to reach. If there are stored items near the attic opening, moving them ahead of time can help the job go more smoothly.
