Attic Insulation Near You in Pahrump

Working near you across Pahrump 89048, 89060 and 89061, from Calvada Valley and Mountain Falls out to the rural acreage on Homestead, Manse and Bell Vista

Free inspection

We measure the current depth, check the ventilation path, and look for moisture, mold and pest damage. You get photos and the full scope in writing before anything starts.

What we install

New insulation, removal of old or contaminated material, top-ups over existing insulation, attic hatch and baffle work, and commercial ceilings.

Target R-value

R-49 at the attic floor on most Pahrump homes. At 2,700 feet the valley runs colder than Las Vegas in winter, so we build for both seasons rather than the summer alone.

Scheduling

Sunday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, emergency line 24/7. Pahrump is about an hour west on Highway 160, and we book it as a morning start so the crew beats the afternoon attic heat.

Why Pahrump Attics Require More Than Code Minimum

Temperatures in Pahrump range from roughly 34°F to 101°F across the year, and at 2,700 feet the valley cools quickly after sunset. The attic has to perform at both ends of that range, which is more than national code minimums are designed for.

It Works Both Ways Here

In Las Vegas, insulation is primarily a cooling issue. In Pahrump it is both. The same depth that blocks 101°F attic heat in July retains heat in the living space in January, when heating costs are equally significant.

Manufactured and Modular Homes

A large share of Pahrump housing is factory built. Shallower roof cavities and thinner original insulation require a different approach from a standard site-built attic, and most have never been brought up to current depth.

Older Subdivisions and Acreage

Calvada Valley and the outlying roads include homes from the 1970s and 1980s at R-11 to R-19, along with room additions and enclosed porches that were never insulated to match the original structure.

Jobs Done in 3 to 4 Hours

A 2,000 sq ft attic is usually closed out on the same visit as the inspection, with cleanup and haul-away covered.

R-49, Not Code Minimum

We install for 101°F summers and mark the finished depth on the trusses so it can be checked later.

Cleaner Indoor Air

Paired with air sealing, blown-in insulation reduces dust, allergens, and smoke infiltration, important during Pahrump's dusty seasons.

Free Inspection, Written Scope

You receive photographs of the current attic condition and a written scope of work before installation begins.

Licensed with the Nevada State Contractors Board under 0095881, classification C-15C Insulation, bonded and insured. That license is what gives you a real contract, a warranty you can claim on, and protection under state law. Not every company quoting attic work has one.

Areas We Serve in Pahrump

Every part of the Pahrump Valley, from the golf-course streets to the acreage on the edges. Pahrump sits inside the wider service area we cover from our attic insulation Las Vegas base. Here is what we usually find in each area

89048

Mountain Falls

A master-planned golf community built from the mid 2000s onward. Newer construction, though most was installed at code minimum rather than the depth this climate requires.

89048 · 89060

Calvada Valley

One of the oldest subdivisions in the valley, with a mix of site-built and manufactured homes on acreage. Original R-11 to R-19 is common, and most parcels have no HOA approval requirement.

89048

Artesia & Burson Ranch

Newer tracts and custom homes on larger lots. A better starting point than the older areas, though most attics still measure below R-49.

89048

Desert Greens & the 55+ Streets

Predominantly 55+ residents at home during the day, where an under-insulated ceiling affects comfort year-round. Single-story layouts place the entire floor plan beneath the attic.

89060 · 89061

Homestead, Manse & Bell Vista

Rural acreage on the outlying roads, with older ranch-style and manufactured homes, plus additions and enclosed porches insulated below the standard of the main structure.

89048 · 89060

Highway 160 & Calvada Boulevard

Central Pahrump on both sides of the main corridor. A wide range of build years, and the area where removal is most often required before new material is installed.

Hear It From The People We’ve Worked With

Signs Your Pahrump Attic Is Under-Insulated

If two or more of these apply, the attic is almost certainly below R-38.

✓ Power bills increase sharply from May through July
✓ Rooms are cold on winter mornings despite the heat running overnight
✓ The air conditioner runs continuously through summer afternoons without keeping up
✓ Temperatures vary by three or four degrees from one end of the house to the other
✓ Ceiling joists are visible above the insulation, indicating R-19 or less
✓ The home was built before 2010 and the insulation has never been upgraded

Attic Insulation Services in Pahrump

Three options for a Pahrump attic. The recommendation follows the free inspection and depends on the existing layer and how the attic is framed.

Blown-In Insulation
Fiberglass Batt Insulation
Cellulose Insulation

Blown-In Insulation

This is what we use in most Pahrump attics. We blow it in, and it gets into every gap, corner, and hard-to-reach spot, around pipes, wires, ductwork, all of it. Even coverage every time.

Best for: most attic types, adding over existing insulation, full even coverage

Fiberglass Batt

If you have a standard attic with open joist spacing, this is a great fit. It’s pre-cut, goes in clean, and it’s the most affordable option we offer. Does exactly what it needs to do.

Best for: open attics, standard joist spacing, budget-conscious upgrades

Cellulose Insulation

We use this one when we need to really pack the insulation in tight. It seals air gaps better and works great in spots where blown-in can’t reach. It’s an eco-friendly choice if that matters to you.

Best for: tight spaces, air sealing, homeowners who prefer recycled materials

Our Installation Process

Four steps, and on most homes all four happen the same day.

#1

Free Inspection

We start with a free, no-obligation on-site inspection to assess your attic, check current insulation levels, identify air leaks, and spot any issues, mould, pests, moisture, or ventilation problems. Takes around 30 minutes.

#2

Customized Solutions

Based on what we find, we recommend the best insulation type, R-value, and approach for your home and Las Vegas climate. You get a clear estimate with the full scope and all-in price before any work begins.

#3

Attic Installation

Our crew installs your insulation, often the same day as the inspection. Most jobs on a 2,000 sq. ft. attic are done in 3–4 hours. We protect your home throughout and handle full cleanup and disposal.

#4

Quality Assurance

After the attic insulation installation, we do a final walkthrough to confirm everything is installed correctly, evenly, and to the agreed R-value. You’ll feel the difference immediately.

Pahrump Attic Insulation Questions

Do you actually come out to Pahrump, or do you subcontract it?

We complete the work ourselves. Our crew travels Highway 160 from Las Vegas with the material loaded, approximately one hour each way. Pahrump jobs are scheduled as early starts so installation is under way before the attic reaches its afternoon peak.

We install R-49 on most Pahrump attics. The U.S. Department of Energy range for this part of Nevada begins at R-38, but Pahrump sits at 2,700 feet with winter lows near freezing, which makes the upper end of the range the appropriate target. Anything at R-19 or below is significantly under-insulated.

Blown-in insulation is suitable for most Pahrump attics, as it installs over the existing layer and fills the gaps around ductwork and wiring. Fiberglass batt insulation is suited to open attics with standard joist spacing. Cellulose insulation installs denser and seals small gaps, which is an advantage in tight or leaky attics. We make the recommendation at the inspection.

A typical 2,000 square foot attic takes 3 to 4 hours from setup through cleanup, and is completed the same day as the inspection where scheduling allows. Jobs requiring removal of existing insulation generally take a full day.

Usually not. All work takes place in the attic. During a removal, homeowners sensitive to dust may prefer to step out for an hour or two, though it is not required.
